I took an investment. It's turning out to be a 'lifestyle' business that's been fully built out after just one small round of funding. I regretted it for a while because I feel my parents(who are very well off) could have funded the whole thing and we'd be sitting pretty right now. I didn't ask them originally because I thought I was onto something big that would need several rounds of funding. But then again the investors made THE key decision to pivot into a better line of business, so there's always positives.
