Teslas do not use the rain sensors discussed in this video, they use cameras to detect rain.


Oh good lord, why? This is a solved problem, why would they waste their time on it. Wait, I think I know the answer: Elon's famous (at SpaceX) for saying the most reliable part is no part. So maybe this is a consequence of that.

That's how every non-Tesla works. Tesla's don't do this method which is why their auto wipers have always been so bad compared to everyone else.
