This can be combined with Nitter's RSS feed of a (public) Twitter account to work around the lack of network effect in Mastodon compared to Twitter.

IME ephemetoot is no longer required, as Mastodon servers (or at least the one I'm using) now offer the feature to auto-delete older toots natively.

You can also do this via RSSHub, though I'm not sure if it goes through Nitter or not.
