What a loss. Few people have done as much to champion rationality as The Amazing Randi. And he was very entertaining while he was doing it.

Not rationality I don't think. More like empiricism. He found truth not in what one could reaosn but in what one could test.

What's especially interesting, to me, is that he published his take on thermodynamics without running it past a physicist. I'm not sure what to make of that.
