See, humans respond very differently when that happens. The failure to do what humans do when they don’t understand something or know something is frequently what fails LLMs at the TT.
Taxi-by-app existed pre-Uber, the innovation was making the taxi actual show up. Austin had the apps, and I would order one, and the taxis would get distracted on the way to my house and pick up other fares, so I couldn't go where I wanted. They had every chance to not be outcompeted by Uber, but they couldn't stop being taxis. And, here we are.

Uber regularly doesn’t show up, just playing with “4… 3… 6… minutes left”. I always have to wait half an hour at a certain location, with a message “Just book a few minutes before your trip.”
I’ve had a friend miss his flight because of Uber not showing up!
I'm still working on Danger World (https://danger.world), my casual 2D narrative adventure with turn-based RPG elements. Built in Flame, on top of Flutter for iOS, Android, Windows and MacOS.
We're getting close! It's just a matter of polishing and polishing and polishing, but I'm really excited about how close we are to launch.
IANAL, but how is this considered legal? I could see Facebook being allowed to claw back up to the amount of the severance, but $50,000 per statement in perpetuity seems wrong.
Yep! What startup has the goal of making less than $10 million in annual revenue? That sentence was absolutely a deal breaker for the CEO and CTO of our last company.
I've been using Docker since before Docker Desktop.
Never really had any major problems with Docker Desktop on Windows. I run it and it allows me to run containers through WSL 2. Volume performance is near native Linux speeds and the software itself doesn't crash, even on my 10 year old machine.
I also use it on macOS on a work laptop for a lot of different projects and it works. There's more issues around volume mount performance here but it's not something that's unusably slow. Also given the volume performance is mostly due to OS level file system things I'm skeptical Podman would resolve that. I remember trying Colima for something and it made no difference there.
